- What can I sell?
- Is there a charge for your service?
No, our service is completely free. Even if you can’t come to an agreement on price, there’s never a charge for our service.
- Why not sell my jewelry on eBay or in the classifieds?
Most people looking to buy diamonds and other jewelry feel more comfortable making these purchases in a retail store who can offer warranties, appraisals and other services. Should you choose to sell on eBay, payment fraud is another major concern.
- My friend went to a pawnshop. Should I try that?
When pawnbrokers buy diamonds, they act as brokers, often selling what they buy to jewelers. We send you directly to the jeweler and cut out the middleman. Of course, our jewelers are always in safe retail shopping districts.
- Can I ship my jewelry to you?
We believe that you deserve the safety, security and speed that come with selling your jewelry face-to-face. However, if you are too far from one of the jewelers in our network to visit them personally, shipping is an option. We will be happy to send you instructions and discuss pricing with you. Please click here to contact us about this option.
- How do I know I’m getting a fair price?
You will be referred to an established retail jeweler in your area and are under no obligation to accept their offer. DivorceYourDiamond only works with jewelers that maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and reputation. All DivorceYourDiamond affiliates are members of the Jewelers Board of Trade and have certified gemologists and appraisers on staff.
- How do I contact the jeweler in my area?
No need to, we do it all for you. We’ll set up the appointment and coordinate everything. All you will need to do is show up and say who you are. It’s that simple.
